@oz-0 Hello, you should prefer breastfeeding over formula milk. Breast milk is the best nutritional choice for infants. Breastfed babies have fewer infections and hospitalizations than formula-fed infants. During breastfeeding, antibodies and other germ-fighting factors pass from a mother to her baby and strengthen the immune system. This helps lower a baby's chances of getting many infections, including ear infections. For moms who can't breastfeed or who decide not to, infant formula is a healthy alternative

@aex Yes, HIV is a virus that attacks the body’s immune system and is spread through certain fluids like breastmilk. HIV transmission from mother to infant mostly occurs in utero, breastfeeding contributes to the risk of perinatal HIV infection. Perinatal transmission can occur during pregnancy, birth, or breastfeeding. The best way to prevent transmission of HIV to an infant through breast milk is to not breastfeed.

@dishaa Hello, yes can also relate to you. Here are a few things that will help you in managing the leaking of breast milk. You can wear Wear a tighter bra or tank.
Pump before you go to bed. I know, it seems so counter-intuitive to pump when you really want to make LESS milk, but it’s kind of a trade-off. the last-chance pumping session seemed MUCH easier to eliminate than the actual feedings had been.
Waterproof mattress pad, Press firmly against the nipple of each breast with the palm of your hand or your wrist, or fold your arms tightly across your chest to stop the leaking long enough for you to make a discreet exit.
Breastfeed your baby before going to bed
      Thanks!

@sonali Hello, you should breastfeed your child as long as it works for you. There are many women who breastfeed their kids for about 18 months and each of therm has it’s own benefits. Any amount of breastfeeding or breast milk that you can give to your child is beneficial. Breast milk still provides older children with additional nutrition for a complete, healthy diet. It also continues to provide antibodies and immune properties that help older children fight off infection, disease, and illness. Breastfeeding will continue to be beneficial for however long you breastfeed your baby. So, ultimately it's up to you to determine how long is too long as your child grows.
      Thanks!

@mia Hello, Yes, if you're breastfeeding, you can safely use hormonal methods. They won't hurt you or your baby. Some birth control pills could curb your milk supply, which would make it harder to feed your baby. It’s true that some hormones may have that effect. But not all do. There are two types of pills. Combination ones include the hormones estrogen and progestin and another has only progestin. So when you tell your doctor that you’re breastfeeding they'll probably prescribe the mini-pill. It shouldn’t affect your milk supply at all. Thank You.

@tisha Hello, Yes, it does, though it is not completely clear why this is. Breastfeeding lowers the risk of developing breast cancer. Few researches show that Breastfeeding makes breast cells more resistant to mutations that can cause cancer. Breastfeeding isn't the only way to reduce your risk of breast cancer: exercise and healthy-eating help, too.

@yoshika Hello, weight gain during pregnancy and while breastfeeding is normal. I also gained some Kgs and was able to lose the extra weight. Weight gain while breastfeeding can happen due to a combination of factors such as the total number of calories you are consuming, the actual foods you are consuming, your metabolic rate, and your cortisol levels. To lose weight, exercise, eat healthily, eat more fiber, protein, and get enough sleep.
