You cannot be infected unless you come in contact with the blood or deep body fluids of someone who is infected with HIV. Blood itself does not contain the virus naturally. Hepatitis is also spread through blood so it is best to avoid sharing razors or toothbrushes with anyone who is infected or who may be without you being aware of it. @lanny Hello, No HIV cannot be transmitted through toilet seats. It can only be transmitted through sexual intercourse, blood, semen, seminal fluids, and vaginal fluids. It may be something else but it’s not HIV. HIV cannot be transmitted through the sweat, tears, or urine of an infected person.
