      @nowelle Hello,
      You cannot be infected unless you come in contact with the blood or deep body fluids of someone who is infected with HIV. Blood itself does not contain the virus naturally. Hepatitis is also spread through blood so it is best to avoid sharing razors or toothbrushes with anyone who is infected or who may be without you being aware of it. Please see your personal health care provider for further evaluation. Thanks!!

      @unnati Hello, All women are tested for HIV during pregnancy or before thinking of getting pregnant. A pregnant person with HIV who is not treated can pass the virus to an unborn baby with the treatment of passing HIV to the baby are very low. Testing for HIV in pregnancy first-line tests screens the blood or saliva for antibodies and antigens these are proteins in the blood that fight infection. During pregnancy, testing is done via blood test or saliva screening. You can also talk to your doctor. Thanks.

      @aex Yes, HIV is a virus that attacks the body’s immune system and is spread through certain fluids like breastmilk. HIV transmission from mother to infant mostly occurs in utero, breastfeeding contributes to the risk of perinatal HIV infection. Perinatal transmission can occur during pregnancy, birth, or breastfeeding. The best way to prevent transmission of HIV to an infant through breast milk is to not breastfeed.

      @rehan Hello, Yes, it's possible for HIV to be passed from a woman to her baby. It can be transmitted during pregnancy, during labor, and birth, through breastfeeding. If a woman undergoing HIV treatment doesn’t breastfeed her baby then she reduces the risk of transmitting HIV to her baby. Thanks

      @kartikk Hello, yes it is true Most people get HIV through anal or vaginal sex but it can be transmitted through shared needles, syringes, or other drug-injection equipment, Food Contamination, and Tattoos and Body Piercings. HIV can’t be spread through saliva, casual contact, touching toilet seats, or from mosquito bites either. You can always protect yourself from getting HIV by taking needed precautions. Thanks.

      @lanny Hello, No HIV cannot be transmitted through toilet seats. It can only be transmitted through sexual intercourse, blood, semen, seminal fluids, and vaginal fluids. It may be something else but it’s not HIV. HIV cannot be transmitted through the sweat, tears, or urine of an infected person.
