@fremont Hello, RA can't be reversed. Even if you show evidence of low inflammation and your joints aren't swollen and tender but the inflammation can e reduced with foods. Some of the foods trigger in RA patients, a vegan diet helps improve symptoms by eliminating many of these foods. This review examines the potential role of a plant-based diet in mediating RA symptoms. Further research is needed to test the effectiveness of plant-based diets on joint pain, inflammation, and quality of life in patients with RA.

@dorian Hello, RA is an autoimmune disease. Several blood tests can detect immune system changes or antibodies that may attack the joints and other organs. There is no one test that can diagnose all 80 types of autoimmune diseases. However, some blood tests can show whether there is an inflammatory process going on in your body, which is a characteristic of autoimmune diseases and help point the way to the correct diagnosis.

@tariq Hello, yes People with RA can experience a combination of common foot problems, such as bunions and claw toe. The changes that occur to the front of the foot are unique to patients with RA. These problems include bunions, claw toes, and pain under the ball of the foot. Although each individual deformity is common, it is the combination of deformities that compounds the problem. The bunion is typically severe and the big toe commonly crosses over the second toe. Osteoarthritis can also cause a type of bunion called a dorsal bunion, which is found at the top of the base of the join
