@nishitha Heart disease has considerable impact on an individual’s overall health and well-being. Therefore, it is not surprising that depression is the most prevalent psychiatric disease in patients with heart issues.Depressed patients who have had heart attacks tend to do worse from a recovery standpoint compared to those who don’t have major depression. Moreover, depressed patients seem to benefit less from coronary artery bypass surgery (a surgery that helps improve blood flow to the heart in patients ) compared to those who don’t have major depression.
