Hello, I am a 44 years old male. My wife is asthmatic and has been taking asthma inhalers for the past few years. All the inhalers have some sort of steroids. Can anyone suggest an asthma inhaler without steroid composition? Thank you!

@manish Hello, Asthma inhalers are the most common and effective way to deliver medicine to your lungs. They’re available in several types that work in different ways. Some deliver one medication. Non-steroid inhalers include montelukast (Singular), zafirlukast (Accolate), and zileuton (Zyflo). Cromolyn prevents your airways from swelling when they come into contact with an asthma trigger. It's a non-steroid medicine that comes in an inhaler. Theophylline (Theo-24, TheoDur) relaxes the smooth muscles that narrow your airways. Consult a doctor before using inhalers. You can try some remedies to treat asthma-like engaging in a breathing exercise. It can lower the amount of medication you need to control your symptoms.
