Are the symptoms of the omicron variant worse than the delta variant?

Hello, I am a 13 years old male. A new variant of Covid-19 has been discovered known as omicron. Does this new variant of COVID-19 have worse symptoms than delta? Do omicron variants and delta variants all have the same symptoms?

@kin Hello, the World Health Organisation (WHO) classified Omicron as a Variant of Concern. According to WHO omicron could be More easily transmitted, Causing more severe illness or change of usual symptoms. They have the same symptoms. Omicron was detected in COVID-19 samples collected between 12 and 20 November 2021 in Gauteng in South Africa. The subsequent sudden increase in Omicron Covid-19 cases caused concern that it may be more transmissible than the Delta variant. Symptoms for the new COVID Variant Omicron are fever or chills, dry cough, fatigue, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, congestion or runny nose, and muscle or body aches. The most effective way to protect yourself from COVID-19 is to get the COVID-19 vaccine as soon as possible and take other precautions like wearing a mask, washing your hands regularly, and maintaining social distance.
