Hello, I am a 19 years old female. Can anyone suggest some double chin exercises? I am trying to lose fat. I gained a lot of weight in lockdown and tried to lose weight by exercising and dieting. I am unable to reduce double chin fat. Can someone suggest some easy exercises to reduce double chin fat?

@karen-0 Hello, A double chin, also known as submental fat, is a common condition that occurs when a layer of fat forms below your chin. A double chin is often associated with weight gain. Here are some simple exercises that helped me in reducing chin fat-
- Straight jaw jut
Tilt your head back and look toward the ceiling.
Push your lower jaw forward to feel a stretch under the chin.
Hold the jaw jut for a 10 count.
Relax your jaw and return your head to a neutral position. - Pucker up
With your head tilted back, look at the ceiling.
Pucker your lips as if you’re kissing the ceiling to stretch the area beneath your chin.
Stop puckering and bring your head back to its normal position. - Tongue stretch
Looking straight ahead, stick your tongue out as far as you can.
Lift your tongue upward and toward your nose.
Hold for 10 seconds and release. - Neck stretch
Tilt your head back and look at the ceiling.
Press your tongue against the roof of your mouth.
Hold for 5 to 10 seconds and release.
The best way to get rid of extra fat anywhere in your body is by eating a healthy diet and exercising regularly. Depending on the size of your double chin, it may take a few months before it’s less noticeable. Thank you.
