    Taking metformin twice a day. What else can I do?

      I am suffering from type II Diabetes for the last 1yr and using metformin 500mg twice a day, glucose levels are fasting 140-150 and post is 200 I need to change any medicine, I am walking daily 3km and doing normal exercise

        @jahnavikodalis Your medication may require a modification as 500 mg twice daily of Metformin is the typical starting dose. Obviously, talk to your doctor about this. Your fasting glucose levels seem too high. That is excellent that you are walking! And if you are also partaking in a healthy diet, even better. Managing weight is something we can do to help with our type 2 diabetes. Let us know when you next see your doctor.
