Hello, my 51 years old wife is suffering from Ankylosing spondylitis. It is a condition that causes inflammation in areas like the spine, hips, and other areas. She is experiencing back pain and stiffness, and fatigue. Swelling reduces on its own. Doctors said there is a cure for this condition but still we are trying to find out some treatment. Please suggest what treatment will be effective in treating this condition. Thanks.

@jayson Hello, There is no cure for AS and it is not possible to reverse the damage caused by the condition. Although it can be managed to relieve the symptoms. Treatment for Ankylosing spondylitis includes exercises that will reduce pain and stiffness, physiotherapy, and medication that will help relieve pain and reduce inflammation such as painkillers. Thanks.
