Why am I having swelling post abdominal hysterectomy?

Hello, I am 51 years old female. I am an 11-week post-op abdominal hysterectomy. I still have swelling and soreness. , my abdomen area is fine when I awake in the morning, but by mid-afternoon, it is swollen and really tender. Some days I feel worse than I did post-op, is anyone else experiencing this or should I be worried? Thank you. Is it common to feel this way post-op? Can anyone share her experience?

@belica Hello, What you are experiencing is quite normal. I was experiencing exactly what you described. I have a desk job so I was able to sit with my feet up. I did feel sore around the incision on days I do a lot of moving around. This surgery is major and takes a long time to recover from inside. If you are concerned then it is better to talk to a doctor. Thanks!
