Mild burning, soreness around the vagina, and itching that comes and goes.
Hello, before my last period I had a burning pain around my urethra that would come and go. The burning never completely went away but did ease, and I had occasional itching. I have itching all over the vulva area that comes and goes, some mild burning/soreness from the urethra/vagina area, and most recently, odd discharge. It doesn’t smell like anything. Both the lab tests came back negative for UTIs and STDs. I have an appointment day after tomorrow still want to know what this could be? Can anyone help me with this?
@oriole Hello, it could be a yeast infection. It has similar symptoms as your mentioned. Vaginal yeast infections have a common set of symptoms, like soreness, burning during urinating, itching, redness, and rash. if there’s an imbalance in your system, these bacteria won’t work effectively. This leads to an overgrowth of yeast, which causes the symptoms of vaginal yeast infections. Each yeast infection is different, so your doctor will suggest a treatment that’s best for you. Treatments are generally determined based on the severity of your symptoms. Thanks!
