Hello, is a type of irregular heartbeat. It can happen a few times a year or as often as every day. It often becomes a permanent condition that needs regular treatment. Symptoms include Heart palpitations, Chest pain or pressure, dizziness, shortness of breath, and feeling Tired. There are several options to control AFib, studies suggest lifestyle changes can cure it. My aunt suffers from the same. Will it be helpful for her to change her lifestyle?

@darrin-p Hello, A healthy diet and exercise play a major role in preventing heart disease and reducing symptoms related to AFib and atrial flutter. Limiting caffeine and alcohol can reduce symptoms of arrhythmia. Caffeine has been shown to speed up heart rate, and alcohol can raise your blood pressure. If she smokes or uses tobacco products, it’s recommended that she should stop it. Talk to her doctor before taking over-the-counter cough and cold medications, and herbal treatments. she should see a doctor and take treatment along with lifestyle changes like Monitoring her exercise, stress, caffeine intake, and alcohol use can help prevent AFib episodes. Losing weight can also help improve symptoms of AFib.
