Fatty liver without any symptoms!!

Hi, I am 45 year old and under routine checkup I have found fatty liver in ultrasonography report. I do not have any symptoms. Is it possible?? If yes, what is the reason behind? Is fatty liver curable?

Fatty liver itself is not a disease but only an accumulation of fat in liver tissue, which may hamper optimal functioning. There are many reasons for it like obesity, diabetes, alcohol consumption etc. Early fatty changes can be reversed with lifestyle modification in consultation of your healthcare provider. If you are not obese and non alcoholic, your healthcare provider may prescribe you some more test to further investigate. -
