RE: Heavy hair fall after dengue? Is it normal?
@dimple-mehra Hello, This occurs usually two to three months after an illness like dengue, typhoid, etc. This may continue for a few days to weeks. The hair usually comes back and grows normally after this episode. If very severe or persists for a longer duration, it may be worthwhile visiting a qualified dermatologist.
Maintain a healthy diet with vegetables, fruits, and proteins. Avoid harsh shampoos and avoid shampooing daily. -

RE: What is seed cycling?
@dhanashree Hello, I am sorry to hear that. Yes, a seed is very helpful in PCOS. Seed cycling involves rotating certain types of seeds throughout your menstrual cycle, to promote a hormone balance. In a typical menstrual cycle, estrogen levels rise during the first half of the cycle (the follicular phase) and progesterone levels rise during the second half of the cycle (the luteal phase). When these key hormones are imbalanced, it can lead to menstrual irregularities, including breast tenderness, painful periods, acne, and PCOS symptoms.
Seed cycling is divided into two phases-:
Phase one- During phase one, which lasts two weeks, you eat a tablespoon of flax and a tablespoon of pumpkin seeds.
Phase two- During phase two, which also lasts two weeks, you switch to sunflower and sesame seeds.
Seed cycling either enhances or inhibits the production of estrogen and progesterone in the body and balances the hormone. -
RE: How to take care of a person with Parkinson’s disease?
@soniya Hello, Sorry to hear that your father is suffering from Parkinson’s disease. Your father needs extra support and care. I hope with time you get used to the rigid movement, poor balance, and tremors. Parkinson’s disease is a movement disorder. I would suggest learning everything about this disease and helping with any other day-to-day tasks they have difficulty with on their own. Helping him to exercise as it is important for everyone, but it’s especially helpful for people with Parkinson’s disease. Exercise improves strength, balance, memory, and quality of life in people with this condition. Be patient with him as Parkinson’s can affect his ability to walk quickly, and to speak clearly and loudly enough to be heard. A speech therapist can teach them exercises to improve the volume and strength of their voice, and a physical therapist can help with their movement skills. Your extra support and care can help him feel better.

RE: Remedies to get rid of pigmentation.
@hardika Pigmentation is the coloring of the skin. Melanin is a type of pigment in the skin. The skin cells create melanin to protect from damage that UV light causes. People have different levels of melanin in their skin, which accounts for their skin’s overall color. However, the skin may create too much melanin in a specific area, causing the skin to darken. This is hyperpigmentation.Hyperpigmentation tends only to affect patches of skin, though in some cases it may affect the whole body. Home remedies may not work in every case, and there are also times when an individual should see a doctor for a full diagnosis.
Home remedies for pigmentation. You can apply Yogurt, milk, green tea, vitamin C, and aloe vera gel. If home remedies for pigmentation do not work, people can consult a doctor to discuss medical options. Anyone with concerns about their skin issues or who suspects there is an underlying problem should also make an appointment to be sure. -

@jankee Hello, Yes you can use tea tree oil for acne. Do not use tea tree oil directly on the face or back. Always apply tea tree oil with a carrier. Use Tea Tree Oil after diluting with a carrier oil such as Coconut Oil, Almond Oil, or Sesame oil. Add one or two drops of essential oil to a teaspoon of your chosen career oil and blend well. When combined, coconut oil and tea tree oil produce a magic combination, effective in reducing redness, rashes, and acne.

RE: Yoga poses to relieve menstrual pain.
@nia Hello and welcome to the forum. Some exercise/yoga poses may help you to deal with period pain. Here are some yoga poses for menstrual pain.
- Child’s pose- This pose targets the menstrual pain in the back. For child’s pose, start with your knees on the floor. Fold forward, extend your arms, and bend down as far as you can comfortably go. If possible lean your forehead on the mat in front of you for five slow, diaphragmatic breaths, or breaths using your belly rather than your chest. This pose will relax your hips and back muscles.
- Cat-Cow pose- This pose targets your back and abdominal muscles. To perform a cow pose start with your hand and your knees. Make sure your hands, knees are aligned under your knees. Stretch your head upwards at the sky. The arch formed will help your back muscles to relax.
- Reclining twist- This pose will benefit your lower back and belly. This pose will relax your shoulder back, hips, and shoulder.
