Hello, I am 19 years old. I have been feeling weak for the past few months so I visited a doctor. My blood work report showed hemoglobin level 11 gm/dL . Is it too low? How can I increase my hemoglobin level naturally?

Hello, Hemoglobin (Hb or Hgb) is a protein in red blood cells that carries oxygen throughout the body.A low hemoglobin count is generally defined as less than 13.5 grams of hemoglobin per deciliter (135 grams per liter) of blood for men and less than 12 grams per deciliter (120 grams per liter) for women. As your hemoglobin level is 11 which is low. You should visit a doctor. You can increase hemoglobin intake at home as well by increasing Iron intake ( Iron rich food are meat, soy, dry fruits, broccoli, green leafy vegetables, and peanut butter), taking iron supplements as prescribed by your doctor, Increasing vitamin C intake, and exercise
