Hi, I am a 20-year-old female. I have been facing this issue for the past 2 years. I have a problem with digesting. I don’t want to depend on medicine for my indigestion issue at this young age. Are there any natural remedies that can help me with my indigestion?

@shreya-jain Have you consulted a doctor as you are suffering for a quite long time?

@keenjal Yes, I visited a doctor as well. By seeing my reports he said everything is fine but I am still having this issue. Now I don't want to depend on medication. I want to know are there any natural remedies to treat this?

@shreya-jain Hello, here are some remedies for indigestion:-

            • Drinking water- The body needs water to digest and absorb nutrients from foods and beverages efficiently. Being dehydrated makes digestion more difficult and less effective.
            • Ginger- Add ginger to your diet as it is a common natural remedy for an upset stomach and indigestion. Ginger contains chemicals called gingerols and shogaols that can help speed up stomach contractions. This may move foods that are causing indigestion through the stomach more quickly. You can also have mint. It can also help you to treat indigestion.
            • Avoid having food that is difficult to digest.
            • Adding lime, cinnamon, cloves, and cumin will also help you. If you experience frequent, or persistent stomach problems, you should talk to a doctor. It is also best to seek medical attention.
