Hi, I am always constipated no matter what I eat because of this I don’t feel good most of the time. I have been dealing with this issue for the past year. Can anyone suggest some best food that can help me with this issue? Food that I should eat if I constantly have constipation.

@neera Hi, Constipation is one of the most common issues that people face. Before suggesting food that will help you to treat constipation. I would like to know have you consulted a doctor as you are facing this issue for the past year?

@neera Hi, A poor diet, such as one that includes too many rich and fatty foods and too little fiber, puts a person at risk of constipation.
The following natural foods can help to relieve constipation:

            • Water- Dehydration is a common cause of constipation, and drinking plenty of water can often help you.
            • Yogurt- Yogurt contains microorganisms known as probiotics. Probiotics are often called “good” bacteria, and they may help to improve gut health and soften stools.
            • Pulses- beans, lentils, chickpeas, and peas are very high in fiber, which is a nutrient that promotes good digestion and reduces constipation.
            • Apples and pears- Apples and pears contain several compounds that improve digestion, including fiber, sorbitol, and fructose. These fruits also contain high levels of water, which can help to ease digestion and prevent constipation. I hope adding these foods may help you.

@neera Hey, you can also add grapes, raspberries, and kiwis.
