Hi, I am a 22-year-old female. I have been feeling a constant urge to pee and it feels as if there is pressure. Is this a symptom of PGAD? What should I do? I am worried. If it is a symptom then please suggest to me something to cure it.

@geetankshi Hello and welcome. Yes, frequent urges to pee and feeling pressure could be the symptom of PGAD (Persistent genital arousal disorder). Persistent genital arousal disorder, or PGAD, is a condition in which a person feels repeatedly sexually aroused without provocation. The person’s arousal is NOT linked to sexual desire. Additionally, most people with PGAD experience spontaneous orgasms that do not resolve arousal. Symptoms of PGAD can vary widely. The primary symptom is a series of ongoing and uncomfortable sensations in and around the genital tissues, including the clitoris, labia, vagina, perineum, and anus. Some people have the ‘feeling’ of an intense bladder infection — although no infection is present. Many people have other, milder bladder symptoms, like urinating frequently or urgency to urinate. You should consult a doctor and convey to him/her all the symptoms that you have. The treatment of PGAD usually centers on managing symptoms, due to the often-unclear causes of the condition. Psychological treatment such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy may help you. Do keep us updated about your condition.
