Is alcohol consumption good for skin health?

Hello, I am 30 years old. I have light complexion. I am very conscious about my skin health. I don't eat any junk food for that reason. My friend advised me to start drinking. It may help in glowing my skin. Is it true? Please advise if alcohol consumption is good for skin health or not?
