Hello, I am a 17 years old male. My whole body itches for 1 year. I do not have a medical or dermatological disease. They told me it could be toxic or dirty blood. Is it possible to have a toxin in my body causing itching? What should I do? I am very frustrated with this. Need suggestions.

@raghu Hello and welcome, Yes itching can be the cause of toxic blood. Itching may be most noticeable at night (nocturnal), during the day, or both. When there are itching symptoms, there can be a leathery or scaly texture to the skin depending on the cause. Itching can be caused by toxins on the skin.
Itching can also be caused by medication. As you said you had this issue last year, so do visit a doctor as itching could be a symptom of diseases like skin cancer, kidney, and liver diseases.
