Breathing and Obese [Plz Answer Opinion]
-
I am on a journey to lose weight, I am very determined and have lost 5-10 pounds~ so far. Recently I started to notice chronic shortness of breath. So I went to the doctors and they did ECG, a lung function test, and an oxygen test. The doctor said that all the "shortness of breath" is caused by excess chest area fat and is causing problems on my diaphragm. They even said that I do not have asthma or any lung/heart problems. I just feel and hope that if I lose weight the shortness of breath feeling will go away does this sound accurate? Has any one faced this type of issue

@gita my dr suggested that losing weight would help with this, along with meds....have only lost 10 lbs so far but I can tell a difference in my air intake...esp at night. even a small amount of weight loss can make a difference...stopped drinking soda, cut down on sugar and carbs, basically just making healthier choices....so don't give up...it CAN help!
