Hello, I am a 23 years old female. I have been diagnosed with cervical pain. I used to experience dizziness and neck pain so I took medical help. I sometimes have a headache. Could this be related to my cervical pain? Does cervical pain cause headaches?

@akshaya Hello, Yes cervical issues do cause headaches typically originating in the upper neck and travels forwards towards the brows.
Here are a few tips to relieve headache with neck pain- Maintain good posture, Sleep but don’t oversleep (A good sleep routine is important for overall good health. A lack of sleep can induce headaches or make an existing headache chronic), Visit a physical therapist ( A physical therapist can help formulate a treatment plan by incorporating physical therapy techniques, such as manual therapy, stretching, and/or exercise. It is also useful in strengthening the neck and back muscles for better posture and function.) If your headache and/or neck pain occurs frequently or worsens over time, consult a doctor for an accurate diagnosis. A doctor can help formulate a treatment plan, which may also include medications. It is important to seek immediate medical attention for any stiff neck (nuchal rigidity) that presents with a severe headache and/or fever.

Yes, Cervical spine pathology can compress the Vertebral Artery and you may get dizziness/syncope/headache episode. Pl consult expert before joining Gym. Thanks
