Hello, I am a 23 years old female. My UTI urine test came up negative, but I am still having UTI symptoms. What do you think this is and what other tests can I get done to help with my constant UTI pain? What should I do?

@vaishali Hello, you should revisit your doctor and share your issues with him. What are your symptoms?

@janika I have pain in the lower abdomen and often have burning sensation while peeing. I’ll surely revisit my doctor. Can you suggest something to me?

Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are caused by bacterial infections, so doctors usually treat them with antibiotics. To treat a UTI you can try the following home remedies: Stay hydrated (Drinking enough water is one of the easiest ways to help prevent and treat UTIs. Water helps the urinary tract organs remove waste from the body efficiently while retaining vital nutrients and electrolytes.), Drink cranberry juice (Cranberry juice is one of the most well-established natural treatments for UTIs. People have also traditionally used it to help clear general infections and speed up wound recovery time.), Take Vitamin C (Vitamin C also reacts with nitrates in urine to form nitrogen oxides that can kill bacteria. It can lower the pH of urine, making it less likely that bacteria will survive.)
Speak to a doctor for advice on the best way to treat the possible infection.
