Is cucumber good for constipation?
-
Hello, I am a 25 years old female. My grandfather has a problem and is suffering from constipation. He is not even eating properly because he feels constipated. He is 79 years old. I took him to the doctor. I also want to try a natural method. I read in an article that cucumbers will help. Should I give it to him? Is cucumber good for constipation?

@mohika Hello, Yes you can give him. They don't have any side effects. Cucumbers are low in calories and contain a good amount of water and soluble fiber, making them ideal for promoting hydration and aiding in weight loss. Cucumbers contain a good amount of fiber and water, both of which may help prevent constipation and increase regularity. Cucumbers are a refreshing, nutritious, and incredibly versatile addition to any diet. Eating cucumbers may lead to many potential health benefits, including weight loss, balanced hydration, digestive regularity, and lower blood sugar levels. Talk to your doctor if his condition doesn't get better. Thank you!
