Hello, Yesterday my 7 years old daughter started her period. She is only seven. Her pediatrician has sent me to take her to a specialist. I am scared; why is this happening to my baby? Is it normal?

@prashasti Hello, I know it might be scary, especially if your pediatrician is recommending you go to a specialist, but try not to worry too much. It’s possible she is just an early menstruator. I got mine at that age too. Take her to a specialist. He will let you know if it is period or anything else like bleeding due to an injury. She is so young they’re going to check just to make sure there is no other reason.
