Hello, I am a 39 years old male. Should I take ashwagandha? I heard it has adverse effects on the kidney. Is it true? Is ashwagandha bad for the kidney?

@tharavi Hello, Ashwagandha, the herb might cause an adverse effect if it is used for a period of months or years. Discuss with your doctor before intake. This herb potentially stimulates the immune system and could worsen conditions of the kidney and liver. If you have liver or kidney disease, always clear the use of supplements with your doctor.
