Hello, I am a 53 years old male. Doctors prescribed me total knee replacement surgery. I had trouble standing, sitting, and sitting. Is a TKR (total knee replacement) safe for life? I have heard people saying that one can never return to normal life after having a TKR? Should I go for it?

@krit The success rate of TKR surgery is quite high if it is done by an experienced surgeon. There are few lifestyle modifications needed after TKR which need to be followed.

Remember the main aim of TKR is Pain-Free Mobility.

So pls visit an experienced doctor for a complete evaluation and then decide.

        Thanks
