@tushika Hello, Chin hair is caused due to imbalance in hormones. The hirsutism test is a test that measures the amount of certain hormones in your blood, including testosterone or testosterone-like hormones, might help determine whether elevated androgen levels are causing your hirsutism. There's no test to definitively diagnose PCOS . Your doctor is likely to start with a discussion of your medical history, including your menstrual periods and weight changes. A physical exam will include checking for signs of excess hair growth, insulin resistance and acne. PCOS happens due to improper diet & lifestyle like improper eating habits & sleeping patterns, etc. Therefore it is very very important to follow a PCOS diet and lifestyle to prevent recurrence & for recovery. I recommend you seek medical help.
