Are there any herbs that will boost immunity? I am a 22 years old male. I have a cold and slight fever. I am tested negative for Covid-19. I don’t want to risk it and want to enhance my immune system. I am taking medicines and want to try some natural methods too. Can anyone suggest some herbs to enhance the immunity system?

@ali Hello, Many herbs are antagonistic to pathogens, they actively fight microorganisms like viruses, bacteria, worms, and bugs.
Here are few herbs that can enhance immune system

        • Turmeric
Turmeric is greatly effective in boosting immunity and eliminating cold, cough, and chest congestion during winters or any season.
        • Ashwagandha
Ashwagandha is the most powerful immune-boosting herbs, supporting the body to adapt and fight stress. It is one of the most effective therapeutic herbs that help from stress and wellness. Proves highly useful when you get sick or under excessive exposure to pathogens. This herb helps to stimulate the lymphocyte, or the white blood cells to fight infections and viruses. Regular intake of Ashwagandha strengthens the immune system.
        • Cinnamon
Cinnamon is filled with antioxidants and inflammatory properties to fight off Winter colds and act as an immune stimulator. It also prevents the blood platelet from clumping, hinders inflammatory substances and controls blood sugar.
Before you start taking any of these herbs, you should consult with your doctor to make sure that they will not negatively interact with any medications you're taking. You should also make sure that you get an accurate diagnosis if you are sick — it's worth visiting a doctor to see which treatments they recommend before you try herbal remedies.
