Hello, I am a 23 years old female. My grandma who is 66 years old is iodine deficient. What are natural ways to cure iodine deficiency? We are also taking proper treatment but want to do a bit from our side as well. Thank you

@pratika Hello, there are many iodine-rich foods available besides salt. You can look to dairy products like milk and egg and seafood like fish, shrimp, and seaweed to incorporate more iodine into your diet. Fruits and vegetables are also good food sources of iodine, especially lima beans, bananas, or corn. Iodine is an important mineral, though few food sources are rich in it. The foods highest in iodine include seaweed, dairy, tuna, shrimp, and eggs. Additionally, most table salt has been iodized, providing an easy way to add iodine to your meals.
