Hello, my kid who is 4 years old has pink eye symptoms. He is always rubbing his eyes and his eyes are even red. I think he has pink eyes. Can anyone tell me how should I treat it? What should I do?

@adika Hello, if a child has pink eyes, promptly make an appointment with his or her pediatric ophthalmologist to determine the appropriate treatment. As it can be Allergic pink eye, Bacterial pink eye, or Viral pink eye. It needs proper medical assistance. If you think your child has pink eye, take these precautions even before it is confirmed by an ophthalmologist

        • Wash his/her hands frequently
        • Ask him not to touch his eyes
        • Wash his pillowcase regularly
You can soak a cotton cloth in warm water and place it in your infected eye for a few minutes. Do this process at least 3-4 times a day until you recover from the infection. It helps ease the pain in your eyes caused due to pink eyes.
