Hello, I am a 35 years old male. I have been diagnosed with vertigo. I feel dizzy every time I stand up. Sometimes I even get imbalanced at times. Symptoms are not continuous but I am frustrated at times. My condition is better than before. Can anyone tell me other than medication what should I do to relieve vertigo?

@davis Hello, vertigo is a sensation that you, or the environment around you, are moving or spinning. Attacks of vertigo can develop suddenly and last for a few seconds, or they may last much longer. If you have severe vertigo, your symptoms may be constant and last for several days, making normal life very difficult. In Some cases, vertigo improves over time, without treatment. However, some people have repeated episodes for many months or even years. Depending on what's causing your vertigo, there may be things you can do yourself to help relieve your symptoms like do exercises that trigger your vertigo, so your brain gets used to it and reduces the symptoms, avoid bending down, get up slowly when getting out of bed and sit on the edge of the bed for a minute or so before standing, stay hydrated and manage stress. Treating vertigo at home might work as a short-term solution. But if you continue to experience frequent vertigo, it’s important to find out the cause.
