      Hello, I am a 15 years male. My grandmother is vertigo. I don't know what it is? I heard about vertigo for the very first time. I want to what causes vertigo and what are the symptoms of vertigo. Can anyone tell me what causes and symptoms of vertigo?

        @ron Hello, vertigo is a sensation that you, or the environment around you, are moving or spinning. Attacks of vertigo can develop suddenly and last for a few seconds, or they may last much longer. Vertigo is often caused by an inner ear problem.
        Some of the most common causes include: Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo happens when tiny calcium particles are dislodged from their normal location and collect in the inner ear. The inner ear sends signals to the brain about head and body movements relative to gravity. It helps you keep your balance. Vertigo is often triggered by a change in the position of your head.
        Symptoms of vertigo are feeling Spinning, Tilting, and Feeling nauseated. Symptoms can last a few minutes to a few hours or more and may come and go. It’s is important to get a formal diagnosis
