@shipra Dengue fever is one of the deadliest diseases that spread in the human body. It is caused and transmitted by a particular species of mosquito, the female Aedes aegypti mosquito. Highly infectious in nature, this disease leaves you with a high fever, headaches, severe muscle and joint pain, pain in your eyes and even in the entire body. Also, if dengue is not treated on time, it may lead to dengue haemorrhagic fever, which can even prove fatal. The most important step to prevent mosquitoes from spreading is to destroy their potential breeding places. Dengue mosquitoes usually breed in stagnant or still water like buckets, unused pools, vessels, flowerpots, clogged drains etc. This tip is an extension of the above point as reducing mosquito habitat and keeping your surroundings clean go hand in hand. You must not just destroy mosquito habitat but also try to keep your surroundings clean to eliminate the breeding of mosquitoes in the first place. Always keep your toilet bowls and trash bin covered.
