Hello, I am a 22 years old female. I am vitamin D and Vitamin B12 deficient. I have the issue of cold hands and feet in winter. When the temperature becomes very difficult for me to work. Is this because of vitamin B12? Can a vitamin B12 deficiency cause cold hands and feet?

@jaya-0 Hello, Yes vitamin B12 can give you neurological symptoms including the feeling of cold hands and feet, numbness, or tingling. Vitamin B-12 is found naturally in meat and dairy products and is important for maintaining healthy red blood cells. A blood test can indicate vitamin B-12 deficiency. Treatments can include your taking an oral supplement, receiving vitamin B-12 injections, and changes to your diet. If you have cold hands and feet all the time, no matter what the weather is outside or the temperature around you, see your doctor.
