Hello, I am a 17 years old female. I have been suffering from muscle spasms since last year. I have done all the MRIs and X Rays everything was normal. Blood work showed Vitamin B12 deficiency. I still have issues like muscle spasms and I even feel dizzy at times. Can anyone tell me if this is because of vitamin B12 deficiency?

@tharvi Hello, Yes it sometimes causes dizziness. This is because your body lacks the red blood cells it needs to get enough oxygen to your body’s cells. However, these symptoms can have many causes, so if you notice that you are unusually breathless, you should speak to your doctor to investigate the cause. vitamin B12 deficiency can cause some people to feel breathless and dizzy. This occurs when the body is unable to transport enough oxygen to all its cells.
