Can I eat eggs with psoriasis?
Hello, I am a 34 years old male. I have psoriasis. I used to have red, itchy scaly patches on my elbow. I am avoiding citrus fruits and some vegetables that cause inflammation. I used to eat two boiled eggs every day for breakfast. I haven’t eaten since I came to know about my psoriasis. Can anyone tell me if I can eat eggs or not?
@ankush-khurana Hello, I would recommend you to avoid eggs while having psoriasis. It’s important to avoid foods that can trigger inflammation. Inflammation and the immune system response can lead to a flare-up. Eggs contain an ingredient called arachidonic acid that has been shown to be a trigger for psoriasis symptoms.
