Hello, I am suffering from high blood pressure. I am a 33 years old female. Four months back I delivered the baby via c-section. I used to have frequent headaches and felt dizzy at times. Is it common to get high blood pressure after a c-section?

@aadhya-0 Hello, yes it is possible to get hypertension after delivering the baby. Postpartum preeclampsia is a condition that can happen after childbirth. This rare condition will cause the woman to have high blood pressure and high levels of protein in her urine. If you haven’t consulted a doctor then you should seek immediate medical care. Postpartum preeclampsia can have serious consequences if not treated. It is treated by Blood pressure medicine to lower your pressure levels. Left untreated, postpartum preeclampsia can lead to serious complications. Medical attention is needed in Postpartum preeclampsia.
