Side effects of water pills?

Hello, water pills are used to increase the amount of water and salt expelled from the body as urine. I have been prescribed it to lower my blood pressure. Are there any side effects of the water pills? I am 44 years old male.

@edward Hello, water pills are a common treatment for high blood pressure. Diuretics are generally safe. Side effects include increased urination and sodium loss. Other side effects are dizziness, headaches, dehydration, and muscle cramps. Consult your doctor if you have a dry mouth, or pee is yellow, fever, sore throat, and vomiting.
