Hello, I am 19 years old, male. I have been attending my classes and working on the bed. My mom told me that it will cause back pain so, I shouldn’t sit all day in bed. According to her, bad posture causes back pain. Is it true?

@Deshad Hello, Yes it is true because you tend to bend low while working, which is bad for the spine. Initially, one might develop muscle spasms, back pain, or leg pain but sitting in the position constantly might end up giving you slipped disc problem. Sitting or lying down for too long increases your risk of chronic health problems, such as heart disease, diabetes, and some cancers. Too much sitting can also be bad for your mental health. Being active is not as hard as you think. There are lots of simple ways to include some physical activity in your day.
