Hello, I would like to know what is lucid interval and why there is lucid interval in EDH? My uncle suffered a head injury and the doctors are using these terms frequently. Please explain.

@ajaad A lucid interval (LI) is the period of time between regaining consciousness after a short period of unconsciousness, resulting from a head injury and deteriorating after the onset of neurologic signs and symptoms caused by that injury. EDH may be associated with a transient period of consciousness, also known as a “lucid interval”, after the initial loss of consciousness due to the primary brain injury
