Is melasma curable permanently?

Hello, I am 33 years old female. Can anyone tell is it possible to cure melasma completely? I have brown patches on my cheeks. Can anyone tell me how can I get rid of it? Is melasma curable permanently? If yes, then how can I cure it? Thank You.

@onasha Hello, in some cases melasma fades away with time but in some cases, it doesn’t. It can be treated with laser treatment but not all can afford that. If you want to treat it you should avoid a few things like birth control pills, Avoid the sun and use sun-blocking creams, Skin lightening creams, Procedures such as chemical peels, micro-needling, and laser therapy can cure it.
