Hello, I am 22 years old male. I have this urge of making everything symmetrical and I am always cleaning. Sometimes I obsess and get angry at the smallest of inconveniences. I am taking some medical help and I am even trying to get better by making a few changes by myself. Can anyone tell me will meditation help me in managing my OCD? Should I give it a try?

@victor Hello, Yes meditation helps in managing such conditions. mindfulness can feel particularly challenging because being in the present moment can include stressful intrusive thoughts, feelings, and sensations. However, when you practice mindfulness rather than attempting to stop these intrusive thoughts or feelings by acting on compulsion you’re asked to intentionally allow those thoughts to exist. Meditation and other activities that promote well-being and a sense of calmness can help manage your OCD symptoms. Thank You.
