Hello, I recently got physical with my partner. We used condoms as a source of contraception. Will using condoms cause any side effects to me and my partner? Can anyone tell me what are the side effects of condoms?

@easton Hello, condoms are the most viable option that is used as contraception but it also poses a lot of disadvantages. It can cause irritation, rashes, latex allergy, and STDs. Condoms are produced using thin latex. However, latex can also trigger an allergy in either of the partners involved in the intercourse. It may also lead to rashes, hives and the person might also have a runny nose. In extremely severe patients, the allergy can even tighten the respiratory airways and in turn, decrease the person’s blood pressure. If you or your partner is allergic to latex, then you must go for a polyurethane or lambskin condom. Thanks
