Symptoms of dementia.

Hello, I think my 70 years old grandma is suffering from dementia as she doesn’t remember anything when I tell her that I am in the next room she gets panicked and goes outside to find me. I am not that is it dementia or something else. Can anyone tell me what are the symptoms of dementia other than memory loss?

@ijah Hello, Yes you are right but dementia generally involves memory loss, memory loss has different causes. Having memory loss alone doesn't mean she has dementia, although it's often one of the early signs of the condition. Dementia symptoms vary depending on the cause, but common signs and symptoms include Memory loss, which is usually noticed by someone else, Difficulty communicating or finding words, Difficulty with visual and spatial abilities, such as getting lost while driving, Difficulty reasoning or problem-solving, Confusion and disorientation, Personality changes, Depression, Anxiety, Inappropriate behavior, and Hallucinations. See a doctor it's important to determine. Thank You.
