Hello, can allergic reactions cause frequent urination? I recently had an allergic reaction. I am allergic to pollen and last week I went outside without a mask since then I am having frequent urination. Can anyone tell me is it because of my allergic reactions? Can an allergic reaction cause frequent urination?

@gus-0 Hello, Yes allergic reactions do affect the bladder. The mucosae of the bladder and urethra display symptoms of allergic reactions similar to those of the skin and intestinal mucosae. Hence, allergy-sensitive subjects may experience lower urinary tract symptoms, such as increased frequency of urination. It can be the symptom of other health conditions like diabetes so it is better to talk to a doctor. Thank You.
