How should I deal with sodium deficiency?

Hello, I am a 44 years old male. I am sodium deficient. Can anyone tell me what should I do? The first symptom was a pain in my joints. My doctor asked me to do blood work and a test report came out and I was sodium deficient. How should I deal with sodium deficiency?

@janki Hello, If you have moderate, chronic hyponatremia due to your diet, diuretics, or drinking too much water it is advised to adjust your diuretic use to increase the level of sodium in your blood. Sodium plays a key role in your body. It helps maintain normal blood pressure, supports the work of your nerves and muscles, and regulates your body's fluid balance. Treatment for sodium deficiency includes cutting back on fluid intake, adjusting the dosage of diuretics, taking medications for symptoms such as headaches, nausea, and seizures. Keeping your water and electrolyte levels in balance can help prevent low blood sodium. Thank You.
