I am 16 years old and I was wondering if it's normal that all of a sudden I have a loss of appetite on my period? I don't feel hungry anymore and I usually eat a lot during my period. Is it normal to lose appetite on a period?

@alinea This happens to me too! This could be happening for a number of reasons including hormones, a full feeling created by bloating, or cramps. Whatever the reason, you’re not alone. I normally combat this too-full feeling by eating something light, like a salad or soup. Hormonal fluctuations associated with the menstrual cycle influence appetite control and eating behavior. I hope it helps. Thanks
