Hi, I am a 15-year-old male. Every single time I get my haircut I get this rash on the back of my head. I have been using danazol shampoo a few times a week for the last month but it doesn't seem to be helping one bit. Can it be seborrheic dermatitis?

Do they wash your hair before cutting it or use any product on it?

They don't wash my hair I usually just do that before I go for the haircut and they don't use any product.

Try getting your hair cut somewhere else and see if you get the same problem next time. Maybe they don't clean their combs between customers and there could be an old product or someone else's fungal infection on the comb. You could ask your local pharmacist or a doctor what they think it may be and maybe they could recommend a product. If it is fungal you may need an antifungal cream or tablet. I hope it helps.

Yes, it is seborrheic dermatitis and there are meds to cure it.
