Hello, I am 27 years old female. Next month my son is turning 6 months old. I am thinking about starting solids. What should I include in his diet for his development? Please suggest foods that will build up his immunity and makes him strong. Thank You.

@alinia Hello, Introducing your baby to solid foods is an exciting milestone. When you start introducing children to the world of solid foods, you are helping them shape their relationship with food and establish a healthy eating style. The timing for introducing solid foods will depend on the infant, but it is not recommended before the age of four months or after the age of six months. At six months give him Well-cooked and pureed meat, poultry, or beans, Ground, cooked, single-grain cereal, or infant cereal with breast milk or formula, Cooked and pureed vegetables, Mashed banana or avocado. From 6–8 months old, feed your baby half a cup of soft food two to three times a day. Your baby can eat anything except honey, which he shouldn't eat until he is a year old. As your baby gets increasing amounts of solid foods, he should continue to get the same amount of breastmilk. Thank You.
